Perfect for volunteers who want to be part of Canada’s premier northern music festival and help create an unforgettable experience for thousands of festival-goers.
Volunteers who complete 6 or 10 hours July 18 – 20 will receive a day or weekend pass to enjoy the festival and an invite to the Volunteer Appreciation BBQ.
Folk On The Rocks volunteers are the backbone of our festival, working across multiple departments including Beer Garden, Hospitality, Ticketing, Ground Transportation, Stage Management, Environment, and Volunteer Headquarters. Whether you’re serving drinks, helping artists, managing crowds, or keeping our site beautiful, you’ll be essential to bringing this magical weekend to life.
We’re seeking enthusiastic, reliable individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and want to contribute to Yellowknife’s biggest celebration. No special experience required – just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and commitment to creating a welcoming environment for all festival-goers.
Training and orientation sessions are provided for all volunteer roles, and you’ll be supported by experienced Team Coordinators and FOTR staff throughout the weekend.
